Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the Educational Program at the assigned school
Oversee the delivery of speech/language, occupational, and physical therapies to students
Manage daily operations of the preschool program which includes overseeing personnel, maintaining program census, sustaining adequate staff coverage, as well as admitting and discharging children
Establish and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum
Assist the transition and inclusion of children with disabilities and other special needs into the preschool program
Provide resources, referral information and support to classroom teachers and related service personnel
Assure team collaboration among various disciplines serving children within the preschool
Recruit, hire and train personnel while ensuring appropriate teacher-to-child ratios
Develop and manage program budgets
Write grants and proposals as appropriate to secure new or additional funding
Develop and maintain policies, procedures and operations that are consistent with local, state and federal regulations, certification criteria and Agency requirements
Plan, coordinate and carry out all activities of a new service or program
Maintain an assessment folder for every child
Identify community needs and develop suitable program proposals
Make referrals to other agencies as needed to provide for the welfare, health and safety of the children served
Maintain and submit all statistics and reports required by internal and external sources
Design and implement intergenerational programs throughout the state
Maintain contracts with appropriate state departments.
Maintain professional activities, related professional membership and participate on advisory committees

Position Summary:

Experience and Education:
• Master's degree in related field
• Certified in Infant/Child CPR, CPR and First Aid
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred
• Three years of experience with students who have educational challenges preferred
