Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an English Graduate to join their current English Department as a Teaching Assistant. This position will start after the October Half-Term, this role will be full-time.
The salary for this role will be between £420 and £450 per week.
Our client school is looking for a recent English Graduate to assist their English Teachers as a Teaching Assistant. Through this position, you will be working with smaller groups of children or on a 1:1 basis, to support those pupils who struggle more than their peers. You will assist the teacher in their delivery of lessons and help to enforce good behavioural standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitoring the progress of students, being able to feedback to the teachers, students, and parents.
• You must be fully aware of all safeguarding procedures.
• You must build relationships with the pupils to ensure that you can effectively help them in their learning development.
• You must be able to ensure you are fully aware of all safeguarding procedures.
The highlight of this position for a recent graduate, is that you will be supported by both Teaching Personnel and your school as you begin your career in education. You will have the opportunity to support vulnerable children in their development. It is a great opportunity to gain experience in a classroom environment. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities for further teacher training leading to permanent positions when you become fully qualified.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
