Freelance Data Quality Analyst

Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a Provider of Market Intelligence Technology Tools based on Large-Scale Data Analytics, is looking to engage with a Junior Consultant - Data Quality Analyst.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document data quality rules, metrics, and thresholds.

2 Establish and implement data quality control measures, including data monitoring, validation, and auditing processes.

3. Conduct thorough analysis of data to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and errors.

4. Execute data quality checks, including data profiling and data cleansing activities.

5. Validate data against predefined rules, standards, and business requirements.

6. Investigate and resolve data quality issues, working closely with data owners, other data stewards, and IT teams.

7. Identify root causes of data quality problems and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.

8. Maintain documentation related to data quality issues, resolutions, and best practices.

+. Participate in data governance committees or working groups to contribute to data quality initiatives.

10. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality requirements and ensure adherence to data governance principles.

This role is for a Duration of 8 Months and requires the consultant to work in Full Time Capacity in a Remote Setting.

Skills Required

1. 1-2 years’ experience as a Data Quality Analyst or in a similar role.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data issues and propose effective solutions.

3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis software.

4. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

5. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

6. Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.

7. Understanding of data governance principles and data management concepts is a plus
