Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manager (Public Sector US -IT Services) with 10 years of business development experience, including at least 5 years in government contracting. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans for IT services in federal, state, and local government sectors, as well as successfully securing government contracts either directly or through prime contractors. Key skills include navigating U.S. government processes, strategic proposal development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize extensive knowledge in navigating U.S. government contracting processes and requirements. Identify, review, and pursue government RFPs that align with the company’s IT services and capabilities.
• Develop strategies to acquire new government, federal, and state clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Lead proposal development efforts, including writing and reviewing government proposals. Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients. Understand their IT needs and provide strategic solutions.
• Actively network and represent BeaconFire Inc. at professional and government-focused events and meetings. Enhance the company’s visibility and reputation within the public sector.
• Ensure all IT solutions adhere to government regulations, including FAR and procurement processes. Stay informed about public sector IT procurement practices and market trends.Mentor and guide junior staff. Provide strategic and tactical support for IT projects and client interactions.
Must Have:
Minimum of 10 years in IT service management with at least 5 years in public sector IT services (US). Proven success in managing government contracts, writing, reviewing proposals, and navigating U.S. government contracting processes.
