• Seeking a candidate with proven experience in scaling payment operations from $20M to $50M ARR
• Demonstrated expertise in building a payments function for a high growth PE backed SaaS firm
• Capitalizing on the company's significant growth opportunity in the payments sector, backed by a strong track record and strategic vision
• Develop and execute a comprehensive payments strategy that aligns with overall business goals
• Proven track record of building and managing high-performing payments teams for PE backed firms in the past ( an exit even better)
• Deep understanding of the payment’s ecosystem, including payment methods, processing, MCC Codes, fraud prevention, compliance and other
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic payment partnerships

What you will do:
• You will develop and execute a comprehensive payments strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives
• You will oversee all aspects of the payments function, including partnerships, integrations, revenue, activation, and customer support
• You will lead the Payments team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance
• You will identify and implement industry-leading payment solutions that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth
• You will partner with key stakeholders across the organization - Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success - to ensure a smooth and integrated payments experience
• You will manage vendor relationships with payment processors, gateways, and other key partners
• You will stay abreast of the latest trends and regulations in the payments industry and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance and security
• You will develop and maintain clear performance metrics and reporting for the Payments function
• You will research and identify additional FinTech products to augment our overall product set
Experience needed:
• 10+ years of experience in payments, with a strong focus on integrated payments for vertical SaaS platforms
• Proven track record of building and managing high-performing payments teams
• Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment methods, processing, MCC Codes, fraud prevention, and compliance
• Experience developing and implementing strategic payment partnerships
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of the payments industry
